Twice a year, the Korea Mock Trial Association funds two to three members of the Yale Mock Trial Association to travel on an all-expense paid trip to Seoul, South Korea.

 

The purpose of each trip is for Yale Mock Trial members to teach Mock Trial to South Korean students from schools throughout the city, and to help them prepare for their national tournament. Members run group workshops and also travel to various schools in South Korea to hold individual team meetings. The YMTA members then act as both judge and jury for the South Korean national tournament.

Every year, the winner of the South Korean national tournament earns the privilege of representing South Korea at the U.S. National High School Mock Trial Championship.
